Bologna together with Cersaie”, a manifesto for safe participation in the international exhibition at the end of September

At Cersaie 2021, due to be held in Bologna from 27 September to 1 October, exhibitors and visitors will be welcomed in complete safety by the city and its transport system and exhibition and accommodation facilities. Cersaie 2021 represents an opportunity for ceramic and bathroom furnishing companies to consolidate and lend stability to their business recovery. This is confirmed by the fact that the 15 halls in the Bologna Exhibition Centre will be fully occupied by almost 600 Italian and international exhibitors. Thanks to Cersaie, the companies will be able to meet in person with distributors and designers from Italy and abroad, showcase their new trend-setting products and discuss future collaborations.

Bologna has the capabilities, experience, facilities and organisation to make the event an opportunity to offer the world a model of safe hospitality worthy of being admired and replicated. Visitors can come to Bologna with peace of mind and in complete safety. Hotels are therefore ready to welcome exhibitors and visitors in complete safety and in compliance with all protocols, guaranteeing the level of service and hospitality for which Bologna and its surrounding region are renowned.

As part of its longstanding focus on the world’s great architecture, Cersaie will be welcoming Pritzker Architecture Prize laureate Shigeru Ban to this year’s show. The appointment with the Japanese architect, the first in-person conference to be held since the outbreak of the pandemic, will take place on Friday 1 October 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Palazzo dei Congressi at BolognaFiere.

Cersaie Digital, a virtual platform which will be online for three weeks from 20 September to 8 October, is the stand-out new feature of this 38th edition of the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings. Exhibitors present at the in-person exhibition will also be participating in the online event, which is intended to complement rather than substitute the physical show. In particular, Cersaie Digital will fully exploit the potential of information technology, dematerialisation of information and events and the global reach of the internet to consolidate the role, standing and prestige of Cersaie. Cersaie Digital will be a new digital platform in Italian and English where the many visitors who want to make the most of their time at Cersaie as well as professionals who are unable to visit the exhibition in person can all meet and do business. The preview of the in-person show provided by the platform will enable visitors to plan their days at the exhibition and request meetings with exhibitors based on their availability. To gain free access to Cersaie Digital from 20 September to 8 October, all you need to do is register via the online ticket office using the same credentials as the entrance ticket.
